Virginia assault weapons ban dies in Senate
A Virginia bill banning the sale of semi-automatic rifles as well as the possession of magazines that hold more than 12 rounds died a quick death in the senate today, Monday the 17th, 2020. This failure is a healthy blow to Democrats who swore to pass gun control legislation since taking control of the VA state legislature.
The bill was part of an eight-measure gun control package being pushed since last summer by the notorious Governor Ralph “Blackface” Northam. Northam began the push in a session he called one month after the mass shooting in Virginia Beach which left 12 dead. When Democrats took control of both houses of the Virginia legislature in November, these bills were suddenly the big push.
After all was said and done, even with a Democrat controlled Legislature, the Dems couldn’t pass the most controversial bill in Northam’s tyrannical package. Four, blue dog, moderate Democrats joined Republicans to reject the bill in Senate committee. Don’t give them too much praise though, they asked for a study on the topic instead.
The person who is most angered by this result is Mr. “Anti-Gun” himself, Michael Bloomberg, who bought and paid for the Virginia election via his supported leftist anti-Second Amendment candidates. Bloomberg failed to consider Patriotic Virginians, and Americans, who refused to stand by as their freedoms and republic were damaged. Americans who would protect the individual right to keep and bear arms, and not let the infringement continue.
Although the bill’s failure was a win in Virginia for freedom loving Americans, sources state that Northam intends to try again. The ban is the third of Northam’s gun measures to fail in the Senate. However, four other bills have passed both the House and Senate and should be finalized in the days ahead. Among the bills that have passed are a red-flag law, a bill allowing cities to ban guns in public buildings, and universal background checks.
Incendiary tips our hat to the Patriots of Virginia and those that stood by their side. Our founding father would be proud.
