Democrats in Virginia File Bill Making it illegal to Criticize Elected Officials Online

After trampling and destroying Virginia’s Second Amendment rights, Virginia Democrats are now attacking the states First Amendment rights as well. This comes after s small portion of the angry gun community showed up in force on Monday, January 20th to rally against the unconstitutional laws being pushed through. The 30,000+ gun owners were but a small fraction of the angry residents of VA compared to those that expressed their displeasure online for the Governor and lawmakers who ignored public opinion and pushed forward.

Democrats now want criminalize your ability to express your displeasure with them publicly. House Bill 1627 was filed by Jeffrey Bourne, a Democrat from District 71 on January 16th.

This bill contains the following:

If any person, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, or harass any person, shall use a computer or computer network to communicate obscene, vulgar, profane, lewd, lascivious, or indecent language, or make any suggestion or proposal of an obscene nature, or threaten any illegal or immoral act, he shall be is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. A violation of this section may be prosecuted in the jurisdiction in which the communication was made or received or in the City of Richmond if the person subjected to the act is one of the following officials or employees of the Commonwealth: the Governor, Governor-elect, Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant Governor-elect, Attorney General, or Attorney General-elect, a member or employee of the General Assembly, a justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia, or a judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia.

Pay particular attention to the verbiage. “If any person…” “shall use a computer or computer network to communicate…” “coerce, intimidate, or harass any person…(or)…make any suggestion or proposal of an obscene nature, or threaten any illegal or immoral act…”

How are we to define these terms? Does this mean if you call the governor an idiot you may be arrested? Is calling for a corrupt politician to removed from office considered harassment? Is it an immoral act to say the Governor can go suck a d!ck or go f#ck himself??

These vague definitions mean that anything you say online can be used against you in a court of law. History has shown us that this is how tyranny begins. This is how Governments kill millions of their citizens. Take away there firearms, and then start rounding up those that disagree with them never to be heard from again.

Do you think this is sensationalism or hyperbole? The Virginia Governor threatened to bring in the National Guard against his citizens. Northam believes he is above you and can bully and threaten the citizens of the State of Virginia with government force. The Governor, based solely on a ‘credible threats’ put fences around public buildings, called a state of emergency and disarmed the people of VA. All with the stroke of a pen.

With the laws in VA that are in the woks, thousands of citizens will become felons overnight. Owning one or more of the items listed in the laws being pushed through would potentially result in lengthy prison sentences. These laws are 100% unconstitutional, yet We The People are being silenced with threat of imprisonment via House Bill 1627.

Rise Virginia! Hell… Rise America! The Enemy is at the gates.
